Paula has always had a sincere passion for hair and makeup. She sees the possibilities of design, color and composition, then uses this theory to create beauty. 

Originally a hair stylist, her love for color attracted her into becoming a hair color specialist for Toni & Guy. She then became a member of their artistic team, which then led her to be an educator at TiGi's Seminar Dallas. At Toni & Guy, there was a high demand to create new hair looks for the collections, which inspired her to follow fashion trends. Eventually, she wanted to create the whole look, so she discovered and pursued her passion for makeup. Even though she has been an educator in this profession, she believes that artists are always students, and should evolve with the trends through education and awareness. Today, she works mostly on commercial sets, but still finds herself drawn to anything that can challenge her techniques artistically.
